The Nile River.

We saw the most
amazingly beautiful
sunsets in Africa.
It would take
your breath away!

Africa is famous for its
acacia. This thorn tree
has gnarled branches,
jagged thorns, and
abundant blooms.

Although situated on
the equator, Uganda's
relatively high altitude
tempers the heat.
Humidity is relatively low.

A beautiful river at
the bottom of the valley.

Tea is grown on good
soil at altitudes of over
4,000 feet and requires
rainfall of more than
50 inches a year.

It took forever to
get to Kabale, as we
went in and out of
the mountains.

The Kabale region of
Uganda is often labeled
the "Switzerland of
Africa." It's called
this largely because
of its cooler climate
and beautiful
mountain scenery.
