Why not?!

Okay, how this came about is I have a friend that I went to San Jose State University with (Angela Fagundes, now Langlands). The last time I talked to her, she was getting married and moving to Belgium. I sent her a 2001 Christmas card, but she was housesitting at the time and accidentally left the card at that house. Months later the owner of the house found it and forwarded it on to her.

She wrote me in April, and I got the letter after a trip to Denver. She included an email address, so I contacted her this way. In the letter she said that we should come visit her in Kenya, so in my email I asked a TON of questions about taking a vacation there and asked her if she was really serious. Don't invite people who have flight benefits because we'll come! She hooked us up with a travel agent in Nairobi, and six weeks later, the rest, as they say, is history!

The funny part is that Angela and her husband weren't there when we came. Rob is a school teacher, and they took off for the summer! But since I need to start looking for a job soon, we decided to go anyway.
