FACEBOOK: InBox INBOX is Facebook’s email system. If you want to keep a message private, use INBOX. If you want to post something for everyone to read, use WALL or STATUS BOX. The INBOX button on the TOP MENU BAR has a pull-down menu that lets you open your INBOX page in two different ways: (1) “View Message InBox” -- brings up the inbox page. (2) “Compose New Message” -- brings up your email message box. The INBOX page has five tabs: (1) “InBox” -- where you receive your emails. (2) “Sent Messages” -- your email outbox. (3) “Notifications” -- a list of your notifications. On the right, you'll find a list of notifications that you can click on or off to get notified about. (4) “Updates” -- refers to any large message blasts that aren't individually addressed to you, and it also includes updates you've made to added pages. (5) “Compose Messages” -- brings up your email message box. |
