The orchestra played in a Christmas Concert, the Senior Tea, a Spring Concert, the junior high schools, the high school festival at West High School, the school musical "Can-Can," and the musical "Paint Your Wagon."

RUSSIAN CLUB
Anchorage Regional Declamation Contest: Paula Price, Andrew Kern, Julie Weber, Andrew Kern, Julie Weber, Melissa Myers, Penny Watts, and Kelley Butler won ribbons. The Russian Club raised profits from various fundraising activities. This money went to Russian camps and the annual trip to Nickolaevsk, a Russian Village on the Kenai Peninsula. The club was also hoping to make their first trip to the Soviet Union in the summer of 1986. (Did they?)
